I specialize in Community trademark law, particularly in the areas of opposition and cancelation actions. Previously, I worked as an examiner at the Community Trade Mark Office (OHIM) and later as a member in the Opposition and Cancellation Division. I utilize this particular expertise in the design of comprehensive international trademark strategies. In addition, I specialized in well-known marks and their legal requirements and supporting evidence.

I also assist our clients in design right matters. I work alongside clients during product development by providing advice and suggestions on cost-effective and well-planned design protection. I place particular importance on embedding design culture in Finland and its development.

Previous employment: Member of International trade mark working group at National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland 1995-97. Examiner at the Examination Division of the OHIM, 1997-99. Member of the Opposition Division of the OHIM, 2000–06. Member of the Cancellation Division of the OHIM, 2005-06.
